New frat ranks organized by American frat and international frat per top tiers. Combination of the current pcs, social standing with other frats and sororities, downtown presence, and staple parties. T1: Castle/Theos T1.5: Owls/Hall T2: Zete/Apes T2.5: Phidelt T3: ZBT/SAE T4: Fiji/Sammy T5: Sigchi/Pikapp Tiers 1-2.5 have different vibes but are generally referred to as “sceney.” You can’t go wrong at any of these frats you should go where you feel like you fit in the most…your social life is noticeably different if you’re not in one of these frats. New sorority ranks based on current pcs, and general social standing T1: Theta/Tabbard T2: Tridelt T2.5: Aphi T3: Oax T4: Sdt/ChiO Your social life is relatively the same if you’re in T1-2 sororities. Tabbard has a very unique vibe that is pretty underground and they generally have relations with the international frats and pretentious American frats. Your social life is noticeably different if you are not in one of these 3 sororities. Some other notes: 1.) For guys it is extremely important to go where you fit in the most with the class above you and the guys in ur pc. 2.) It’s not as big of a deal with who mixes with who as people make it out to be because past the first couple weeks of school and first weeks of second semester no one really goes to mixers and girls end up just going to whatever frats their friends are in (mixers get extremely boring). 3.) you can’t compare frats like castle, owls, zete with frats like Theos, hall, apes, and Phidelt. They are completely different. 4.) you should go to as many frats as possible and if you’re a girl, go to any dirty rush event u can because there aren’t many. 5.) most of the posts on here are complete crap made by guys in mid frats who try to stir up drama on other frats. This post will probably get burried but if it doesn’t, I genuinely think this is meaningful advice and expresses thoughts that almost anyone in Greek life would agree with at this point in time.
