frat ranks with descriptions for the rushes given current performances: Frats T1 Top: The perennial superstar duo back at it again. Theos gets the slight edge in light of Castle’s ofsl fiasco and relative quiet semester. Big downtowns and events coming up though with Friday Beers/MG and Theos&Owls downtown/Woodser. That’s a heavyweight bout of a weekend. Theos Castle T2 Low Top: The downtown cutoff tier is pretty much set in stone. Phi Delt continues to throw well on campus (ex. Twinsick) and has Friday Beers coming up. Zete/Hall are relatively quiet and could get see upstart organization Owls rise quickly to their level. Owls late nights have garnered solid reviews. Apes, ZBT, and SAE continue to have up and down semesters. Apes can’t seem to piece together a complete event with their signature foam cut short. ZBTs ofsl dispute is ongoing, hampering their usual on campus events, but Friday Beers is a massive get for them. SAE has succeeded from a pure volume strategy; we will see this week if that pays off as their downtown goes head to head with the trio of Castle, Delt, and ZBT with Friday Beers. Phi Delt Zete/Hall Owls Apes ZBT SAE —Downtown Drop— T3 Upper Mid: Sigma Chi reins over the T3s with their high energy on campus events, but non-freshman attendance and srat relations continues to hold them back. Fiji held a wristbanded event that was high energy; an important step for them to compete with the rest of the T3s. Phi has gained some more traction with their new house and seems to be more aggressive as of late, however, srat relations are few and far between. Sammy and Beta remain far removed from the upper echelons of Penn’s social scene but nonetheless have operated smoothly in their respective circles SigChi Fiji Phi Sammy Beta T4 Middle: AEpi has taken a step up with their srat relations and have hammered away at scheduling chio and sdt with more urgency. Ksig pieced together a late night prior to break which garnered mediocre interest; it’s been a downward trend for them. Elmos is it’s own thing, but it’s selectivity and ethereal late nights keep it around relevancy. AEpi Ksig Elmos —Srat Relations Cutoff— T5 Lower Mid: SigEp DKE Crows SigNu TEP T6 Bottom: Phi Psi KA ATO Lambda PiLam Etc.
