unarguably the main benefit of social climbing is it will get you into the nicest parties and help you make some of the best memories here... after Penn, you will see for yourself but people end up working or going to grad school in all corners of the country and world so you do start to lose touch with people and restart the networking and social climbing process... in all honesty, social climbing at Penn or any other top 10 school is not that difficult or mysterious, most people just navigate it better because they have high school alumni here or siblings/family here
