Look, I’m a Senior and I’ve been on the both sides of the process when rushing and then rushing kids. I really do understand how tricky your situation is and everyone quick to say “go to the one with the cooler PC/ better brotherhood” seems to brush aside how heavy “clout” can feel or how you want to make a name for yourself. They’re right though. Clout is so superficial and so temporary. I’ve seen Greek orgs rise and fall since I was in your position and I can beyond a shadow of a doubt urge you to go with the one whose PC you vibe with the most and brothers you respect the most. Chasing clout cannot be more foolish. And if at the end of the day you’re still worried about clout, know PCs literralyy are the foundation for clout. If the frat your gut likes (which you should listen too) also has the cooler PC, then you have nothing to worry about. I know you’re worried about chicks, or maybe you don’t want to be known as a dweeb, but I guarantee you none of those should be concerns if you really follow your gut to the better PC and brotherhood. Everything else will follow, and it’s probably already there. There are so many people in this school. I know you’ll make the right choice.
