1) congratulations on coming to Iowa state :) it’s a great school and I hope you’ll love it as much as I do 2) if you’re on the fence about rushing, do it! You can always drop if you don’t like it but it’s better to try it out than wonder what could have been 3) don’t believe most of the crap you see on this website, go off of your interactions with actives not what someone hiding behind a screen says about a house 4) every chapter has its goods and its bads some houses won’t be for you and that’s ok you will find somewhere that you will love 5) BE YOURSELF you want your brothers or sisters to accept you for you not someone else 6) rush and prefing can be a little stressful and sometimes even discouraging, just go with the flow and be positive and try not to get into your head too much If you have any questions please feel free to ask here or reach out to council or chapter leadership Good luck, trust the process, and we can’t wait to have you as apart of our community
