Delts have been top 3 on the OU campus until 2000 when nationals came in and kicked out a number of members. David Nichols, who owns Devon Energy, gave OU $14 million and culled the membership. Strong alumni like the governor of OK, Brad Henry, and the mayor of OKC, Mick Cornett, are still active with alumni events. Delts predominantly take private school guys from OKC/DFW and better suburbs. Have more money and tend to pledge more Texans.
