I'm from the northeast and just FYI, it makes rush a lot harder. 99% of girls are from oklahoma or texas, and you usually need to know someone to get into a top house. you're also considered a higher drop risk because you're so far from home, so that makes top houses more hesitant. It's not impossible- I got into a top house- but you definitely need to be prepared for rush!! Just remember that, as dumb as it sounds, all OU houses are great- we've won awards from national panhellenic for having such a great sorority system. as long as you present yourself well, you will end up in a great house.
