True, but the only reason your friend dropped is because she thought she wouldn't be respected if she pledged anything but the top tier houses. That's just not true, but girls read sites like this and think it is true. I think we owe all pnms the duty of truthfulness and that is that sisters can be found in any house regardless of tier.
