I'm not the OP but guessing who people are generally is not correct. I would guess the OP is referring to Oscar the grouch from Seseme Street and calling themselves Cookie Monster because of it. I think Cookie Monster is making fun of the entire Oscar debacal. That's just a guess but it's a better educated one than your comment or comment one.
