I don't know about other schools, but there has been an idiot on OU's site who has a long-standing litany of things she thinks are important including pageants. She also tells girls they don't have a chance unless they are from "wealthy, influential families." She's a joke, but panhellenic girls are trying to make sure the truth gets told, whether it is important or not.
