No one is covering anything. No sorority issues a bid, even a snap bid, to a girl they don’t want. Period. When I was active we absolutely passed on some girls the year we were eligible to issue snap bids. COB spots are based on Total. I am not on current Panhellenic, but not sure that would be set until all actives are accounted for and pledges are committed. It’s a bit early. And it doesn’t matter. Half the houses are always eligible since it is based on mean number of girls per house. It’s just math. And another way to join Greek life. It is how it works. And it is a good thing to offer different ways to join. In summary. It really doesn’t matter who is doing COB.
