Girls do get dropped or fall through the cracks of the system. Formal relies heavily on your resume and connections. There are just too many girls to consider. COB is a respectable alternate way to join Greek life. And is probably the best way for those with low grades, no connections, or are a junior/sophomore. The sorority can get to know you and not just your resume. But you will be disappointed if you go into the process only wanting particular chapters. Not every chapter can or will participate. But the sorority experience is worth it so that shouldn’t factor in too heavily.
