Sorority ranking is only important when the girls going through recruitment start marking their cards. It has no effect on which guys you get to know or how much fun you have. The ranking by making it better is about how the girls rank the houses during recruitment except that some rank A Phi higher than the last place. They're considered in last place because of their poor retention, bad grades, and horrible sisterhood. Those are things girls don't find out until it's too late to make a different choice.
