I apologize for being vague. I am speaking from my personal experience and the experience of many other conservative women who I know and see online. The reason I dislike feminism is that they ostracize and cancel moderates who disagree with them. Look at the movement, there is a reason why it is mostly white liberal woman. In my opinion, a movement like that needs to have people from both sides of the political spectrum and from all walks of life. I just don’t see that happening with feminism. There is no need to be over dramatic and compare a moderate criticism of feminism to the religious abuse and control of women that is prevalent in The Handmaid’s Tail. Also, I am college age. If someone makes a good point their age shouldn’t matter. You claim to not know anyone our age who isn’t a feminist. Well you probably do, many of us don’t want to speak out for fear of being canceled. You should take a step out of your bubble and respectfully listen to the opposition. That is how you better yourself and your worldview, even if you don’t end up changing your viewpoint.
