The crescent moon plus the star is the sign for Islam (not "radical islam [sic]," you right-wing nut), but it actually predates Islam by several thousand years. It was the symbol of Byzantium (later Constantinople / Istanbul). Probably everything you can think of as a symbol has been used by other groups of people with other interests. Just a suggestion, why don't you broaden your intellectual and academic horizons. Just because you're ignorant now doesn't mean you shouldn't use your time in college to learn about others. "Radical islam" [sic] isn't a thing. There are people who are radical and who are also Muslim, but they don't have a symbol that sets them apart. You're the reason that people laugh about Oklahoma.
