To be honest, it's easy to know who snap bids if you know the girls involved. For example, I know a Pi Phi who had been dropped from recruitment and was already home when she got the call about a Pi Phi snap bid. Lots of people know her. I don't really know that many Chi Os, so I can't say if they did or not. It's also easy to know some of the stats of a PC. For example, our house got more PLC girls and cheer/pom girls than any other house. That stat is easy to know. While it is true that the top houses don't snap bid, spring recruitment is another thing all together. If we have early graduates or girls studying abroad, nationals requires that we fill their places during the next available recruitment time. We don't advertize it. Usually we just take girls we already know who have friends in the house. It's pretty low key. We don't have to do it every year because we usually have a cushion from quota additions. Hope this helps.
