I’ve noticed some of the houses featuring the fact that their house has its own foundation with their letters (think like The Alpha Beta Gamma Foundation) and I know I was confused as to why that was important or significant when is was going through rush. It basically means the house or nationals gets to choose what it does with it’s philanthropy money. The other houses give to actual nonprofit organizations and the other groups have the option to donate to their philanthropy, funnel it back into their organizations for scholarships, or anything else at their discretion. Basically you could be donating for a certain cause and then the money could actually go to paying one of their members’ tuition.
