I am the mother of a soon to be incoming freshman girl. Having extra time on my hands I have come here trying to find information on the different houses so my daughter and I can discuss things from an informed standpoint as she has heard so many different things from girls in our home state regarding sorority life on campus. Things have definitely changed since I went to college and enjoyed Panhellenic sisterhood. Even though she is a legacy to a sorority I won't name that has a chapter in Norman, my intention now will be to try as best I can to talk her out of going through Rush in the Fall and to live on campus or an apartment while she's in school. Hopefully she will meet friends through avenues other than the Greek system.
