If you don't think grades are important, that's fine. Your home is a house that doesn't concentrate on grades. If you do care about academics, you'll choose a home that also cares about academics. What seems odd is to care about what other people say about academics. You said you didn't care, so what do you care if other people do? And why oh why are you hateful about a house that did make good grades just because your house doesn't?
