A girl I know from home (TX) who is smart, talented, a good athlete, really sweet ended up in a “bottom” house. The only thing I can think of is she’s a little shy so she may not have come off as bubbly or fun because she’s kind of serious. She may not have been memorable. She went to a small private Christian school that not many people go to OU. But my mom said you can get cut if you end up talking to sisters without a lot of pull in the house. Like even if someone is pulling for you, if that girl isn’t loud enough or doesn’t get other people to pull for you too you might not get asked back. Bottom line everything doesn’t work out for everyone so do what you can to make sure you have all your rec letters, and make connections ahead of time. BTW the girl I know is very happy and loves her house maybe more than I do in a “top” house.
