Every woman in a sorority knows all legacies can't be placed in their respective house. Not every legacy fits in every chapter of the sorority. PNMs must find a house they love and are comfortable in and it may not be their legacy house. Many times there are too many legacies going through recruitment and a chapter can't take all their legacies. There may be legacies that don't fit in with the girls in a particular chapter. Top houses with good return rates have a legacy issue regardless of which sorority it is or which university it is. All PNMs are afforded the best opportunity available to match with the sorority that fits them best, regardless of legacy status. All sorority women are aware of this issue. Each of the 26 Panhellenic sororities deal with this situation every year. All sororities encourage their alumnus and legacies to be pro Greek. Whoever write this original discussion should be more pro Panhellenic. If anyone one is upset with their own sorority about their legacy issues then the member can give their pin back and resign. A member of another sorority that weighs in on a different sorority also needs to understand their opinion doesn't mean anything. Every sorority in the national Panhellenic conference has legacy issues. MOVE ON
