So many think they pledge and should have instant friends and bonds. That only happens when you already have a connection. If you got into a house that is connection heavy, and u didn’t have those connections, you would have to work harder to break into those cliques who went to school or camp or cheered together. Likely, if you are in a house that relies less on connections, others are looking to connect just like you. But you have to put yourself out there. Join in on the fun. Attend all the events bc those create connections. Love what the poster above said about loving their house and finding her people. That is what it is about. All 11 houses are strong and have great alumna networks. It can be for more than 4 years...
