I hate to say this but parents and alums are the problem. Everyone is acting like it's a competition instead of a way for pnms to find the best fit for themselves. Just because a house was great for mom when she was in college doesn't mean it will be great for her daughter. But moms are so determined that their girls get one of a small number of houses that they tell them they'd be embarrassed if they choose a different house. If we want a change, we have to be that change.
