I also did not receive an invite for preference round. The whole process was brutal. I tried to stay positive even after round 1 cuts. I wasn’t set on a particular group...just looking for sisterhood. It’s a very negative way to begin college. The positive, I made some good friends in my walking group. I wished them well as I headed home yesterday. Not sure what advice I’d give others. Not having connections hurt. I’m also on the quiet/shy side. Rush was overwhelming for me. Looking forward to getting some rest before school begins. Not mentally ready to consider COB at this point. Researching other groups to join to connect with the Sooner community.
