I would not say Kappa & Theta “stand above the rest”. Not bashing them. I would say those two recruit differently. Kappa seems to rely heavily on connections and their alumni connections. They probably have 85% of their pref invites determined before recruitment even starts. Theta always does well in grades. Anyone coming in with less than a 3.5 is probably a grade risk for them (could be even higher). I am not a Kappa or a Theta. I have friends who are awesome in both. And no one talks about membership selection. So these are just guesses based on my observations the past few years. The rest of this post is spot on. In short. One group isn’t any better than another group in the end. Just a few have a focus or type during recruitment. After recruitment nobody even cares. The difference between any of the sororities on campus is small. Each has hundreds of girls of all types. Some seem to have a type. But even then that is a small proportion of the whole. Don’t listen to anything negative. Keep an ear out for the positive!
