unfortunately, a lot of the rush process is really superficial and there are a lot of shallow girls in charge of making the cuts. With that being said, a lot of the chapters aren't like this and don't care about looks/weight as much as they do personality and involvement, grades, etc. If you have good grades and a full resume, you should be just fine! And like the person above said... don't be too upset if you get cut, because if those houses are so shallow you wouldn't want to be there anyway. I will be honest with you and say that there are a few houses that pick their girls heavily on looks/weight... Kappa, APhi, ChiO, Pi Phi to name a few. I don't mean any hate to these houses, but they are generally the ones with really pretty, fit girls. As for the other houses, appearance doesn't matter quite as much. I know lots of overweight girls in several different sororities here!!! My advice would be to wear clothes you feel good in and go in with confidence! Chapters will get a much better impression of you if you seem confident and comfortable in your own skin. Good luck, you'll do great!!
