First, a PNM cannot get in trouble for being dirty rushed so do not worry that you are going to get in trouble in any way. Second, I think social media has changed a lot about the way rush works. Yes, they are not supposed to be contacting you after May 1, but I do think there is a big difference in an active you don’t know IRL messaging you a “congrats” after graduating or a “how’s your summer?” or liking your pics and an active you don’t know taking you out for ice cream or inviting you to stay with her. I would just reply with a friendly but short message, “thanks, have a great summer!” Now if they’re constantly DMing you saying “you’ll be the perfect ABC” “you’ll be the most fun little” “who are you interested in” “do you like XYZ”.....then that’s waaaaay over the line into dirty rushing and should be screen-shot and sent to Panhellenic.
