It’s true that many mean comments have been written about mostly Gamma Phi and Theta (and now you seem to be picking on Beta, too.) You should know since you're written them. (Remember, we can tell by your bad use of language.) You seem to be recruiting for a lower tier house -- possibly A Phi or Chi O -- and your message is that they've taken over Gamma Phi's spot in the top 4. A panhellenic group is trying to watch this site to refute those nasty remarks because they're untrue and dirty rush. We’re the ones that keep reposting the one true thing that PNMs can know is true about the houses which is how sororities did in competitions last year. This article, though is another true thing. The Daily is not a laughing stock (by the way, the word is “stock,” not “stalk.”) The reporters are trained in journalism principles and this article was obviously investigative journalism at its best. The writer lived as an Alpha Phi for a school year and wrote about her experiences. She wrote about superficiality, lack of sisterhood, artificiality of the girls “look,” etc. Shrug those experiences off if you want to as common to many sororities. But don’t shrug off the race issue. It is beyond me why anyone would consider a house that didn’t want to be “tainted” by minorities. Especially when the top houses all have African American girls. It’s shameful and disgusting.
