None of the houses recruit only on grades. The ones who win grades are incredibly well rounded. Theta, Gamma Phi, and Pi Phi won grades last year and all won numerous other things as well. It's wrong to tell PNMs that they shouldn't be discouraged if they have bad grades. The truth is that with low grades they're not going to get into a house that is ranked very high. That's fine, though. The other houses may take them and be so glad to have them as sisters. They just need to have an open mind and not decide in advance which house they want.
