The sororities compete on grades each semester so the higher your grades are the more desirable as a PNM you are to the houses. If your grades are below 3.6 or 3.8 or so, you should expect heavy cuts, especially from the top 5 houses. Just don't drop out of recruitment at that point. All the houses are good and they're all better than being an independent.
