You do have a point that Kappas generally go after wealthy, connected girls. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, many of those types won't be in a pageant any time soon. Their looks are going downhill and the scale is going up. I know it's not nice to say, but is the truth. My friend from back home is coming to OU next year and is a Kappa legacy. She's already decided that she doesn't want Kappa, so her mom might leave it off of her recruitment package. She's VERY well connected, BTW.
