Like you said, it's all a matter of opinion. Where I'm from in TX, Pi Phi and Kappa are considered the top 2 houses. Those are the ones that everyone from my high school wants. All of the popular girls from my hometown thought Theta was nerdy and uptight. I was cut by Pi Phi and Kappa, and am still a little sad about it, but making friends in my house and overall happy.
