Actually COB and spring recruitment are way more competitive than fall recruitment. Houses that allowed to do COB or spring are only looking to fill a couple of spots. They generally have in mind girls they're going to bid because they are friends of girls in the house and already hang out there a lot. It's not like you even get a chance to make an impression on them. There may be one house that didn't make quota and you'd have a better chance with that house.
