I just have a little advice for PNMs that I wish that I had been told before I went through rush. I am in a "top" house but I'm telling you now that your sorority DOES NOT define you. Some of my best friends are in other houses and I love them as much as I love my sisters. Don't think that if you end up in a house that may not be considered "top" that you will be looked down upon by other girls or that you can't be friends with a "top" house member. And the same goes for if you do make it into a top house and say one of your friends doesn't, please please please do not stop being her friend just because you're in a different sorority than she is. Panhellenic love is real y'all and I hope that all the girls coming here next year realize that once you're in a sorority, it does not mean you have to be friends with ONLY your sisters. Trust me, freshmen year and college will be a lot more fun if you are willing to branch out. Just a little food for thought :)
