My sorority absolutely does not do spring rush. Period! Please only speak for your sorority. Nationals do not push for higher membership numbers! They know our numbers are already too high to manage. Sororities can do spring rush only if their house totals are down. This has nothing to do with quota and everything to do with retention rates. The more girls who drop, the more room they have to add new girls. You did get one thing right, sororities do not advertise their spring recruitment if they have them. You would have to be friends with someone in the house and have them invite you to participate. Except maybe adpi, aphi, or theta, they might advertise because their house is not at total yet. Call the greeklife office for better advice than this website.
