I made many life long friends that I know I will stay in touch with for the rest of my life. I live in the Dallas area now. I agree that sorority connections or which one you were in does not make any difference in the professional world. Like no really one cares and there are rarely any opportunities where a sorority connection gives you an advantage. The best use of sorority connections is for volunteering and social events, like my bf and I meet up with the local alumna group for tail gating and brunch. That's also the only time I ever wear my letters any more.
