this has been discussed before in depth but a while back, in early october. The office of greek life said about four years ago that their goal was to add five new sororities within the next fifteen or so years. ADPi was the first, and as we can see, their colonization was successful and their chapter is doing very well. Their recruitment will become more competitive, on the level of Pi Phi and AOPi, especially with Alpha Phi, who was the second sorority added under this plan. Now, we can assume that Ole Miss will announce that they are open for expansion within the next year or so. My money would be on one of the following houses, because they are rich in southern tradition and will have southern alum support. ZTA- was here before and closed due to low numbers. AXO- my pick, but they are currently struggling at Arkansas, where they recently colonized DZ- I'm not sure about the level of alum support, also I believe we passed on them in favor for Alpha Phi GPB- Gamma Phi is relatively strong in the South, and would be a welcome addition. They aren't really top anywhere though, which may lead to a lower perception of them. AGD- I know lots of girls from Alabama who are legacies for AGD because their moms went to Alabama/Auburn. I think they would have a lot of support. Now, the problem is that any new sorority would need a house. Alpha Phi is going across from Pi Phi, and then there's no more room, unless a smaller house is built across from Chi O. A chapter wouldn't...
