I could not agree more. It is not a good feeling that all of our chapter's major decisions get overruled by the alumnae who micro manage us like crazy. I know they are doing it because they are protective of our sorority and put in a lot of time and money but there is a big difference between "Advising" and "Bossing"... they are not leading or guiding us. The worst part is that if anyone disagrees, they get branded as a "troublemaker" among the alums which I'm told holds harsh consequences after you graduate. To be fair, my friends in other sororities say it's the same with their alums so I think maybe this is just part of the Ole Miss Greek culture?
