"Contacting" and following through or wanting a bid are completely different things. My roommate went to their first meeting and she and her friend decided Alpha Phi wasn't for them. So people like that are counted as "contacted." Alpha Phi took half the number they said they wanted. That spells trouble to anyone looking at it objectively. But just keep on with the damage control. We have eyes and see how poorly things went.
