<strong>Subject:</strong><br />attn pnms: pref is coming<br /><br /> Poster Message:
Just wanted to share a thought with the PNMs as they approach pref. It is so EASY to get caught up in rush, in tent talk, in what your friends like, in what others perceptions are. And it is very easy to let all of that influence your choices come pref. Here's the bottom line. If you want to have a true greek experience anywhere, not just at Ole Miss, then you have to go with the house that you feel best. You will spend a lot of time with your sisters. It won't be all that you do on campus, but it will be a lot of what you do - for four years. That's why it is so important to pref the house you feel most at home, the house where you clicked with the most people. Do not go for the house that your friends or roommates love. Do not go for the house that is "better on paper." And for the love of god, ignore all of the tier junk. Because at the end of the day, if you choose the house where you felt best, it will be top tier for you. And really, that's what you want out of a sorority. So don't cave to the "rush" of it all and stay true to what you like. If you love XO, go for XO. If you love ADPi, go for ADPi. You don't want to spend 4 years with people that you don't feel fully comfortable with, and you definitely don't want to desisterize. In other words, don't disappoint yourself. Good luck this weekend girls!
