DO NOT cut any house that you like just because you don't have a rec. If they like you, they will find you a rec if it is needed. If they don't feel like you'd be a good fit, chances are they will probably cut you after first round anyways, meaning that it doesn't matter where you ranked them. Rank the houses in the order of where you feel at home and where you would love to spend the rest of your college years, rec or not.
