Two years ago I was in the same position. I had below a 3.0 and was very nervous. I ended up preffing a "top" house (knew lots of girls) and Theta (legacy) but i got cut from my number one choice and theta took me bc I was a legacy. It all works out in the end but yes your GPA will restrict u a lot if it's below a 3.0. A lot of the houses I had a great shot at getting in told me they had to cut me last minute because my GPA.
