Every girl pays the same amount in dues. We just want to make sure you're capable of paying your dues, which is part of why rec letters are neccesary and why we want to know about the kind of family you come from, and that's it. There's a stereotype that a certain sorority on campus talks about money during rush rounds and only bids rich girls, but of course it's not accurate. There are obviously rich girls in that sorority but I know plenty who aren't. That being said, if we're looking between two girls who have similar resumes and both have good personalities, but one came from a rich, well known family and area of the country while the other is from a smaller more rural town.. You can guess who we will pick.
