When picking girls for a new colony, Alpha Phi will be looking for lots of things: -a pretty even distribution of girls from all 4 classes -a mix of OOS and Miss girls -few to no grade risks, girls across a variety of majors -upperclassmen who are already involved in top campus activies, upperclassmen who are leaders. Good reputation & leadership potential as the 1st ExBoard will be from this group -athletes, dancers, singers, creative/artistic girls so they can be competitive in Greek events and rush -girls who meet the values and morals of the national sorority The people from nationals who conduct rush will have a good understanding of Ole Miss culture and try to pick a group of girls who are ready to work hard to establish the house on campus in a positive way. They won't take everyone who is interested if they are smart. Quality over quantity.
