1. It varies with each sorority. Some sororities only have alumni overlooking them, some have alumni dedicated in the voting process. We only know about the house we're in. 2. One girl had her mom stay in the hotel on campus with her aunt (who was a hairstylist) and she did her hair and make up there in between rounds. Needless to say, she did not look natural and she didn't look the same after Bid Day. I understand fix ups, but it was weird that she went through so much trouble. 3. You won't have GDI's on here. They don't care about us. 4. One rushee who I talked to flat out told me that she hated my house on the first day cause we weren't top tier. She said that I shouldn't bother with her because she was top tier material. After that day, told my friends in class about her and she was dropped by almost every house the next round. It was the first day! If you don't like the house, stay polite. 5. It's different at every house, recs and legacies. We do like recs that are personal and most houses keep chapter legacies for a while. But again, we only know about our own house. 6. Her energy. If she seems nervous, I find that adorable because we've all been there. If she's excited, I will immediately love her. If she's not excited/interested, I will want to drop her for HER sake. Why would I keep someone around when she doesn't want to be in my house? She might love an other house and thats ok! :) 7. I know a few African Americans in sororities.
