By now most sororities will have a working list. Those lists will be reordered throughout rush, but if you friend placed you on a list, it means she recommended you for membership. Whether or not you get a bid will be determined by the order of the lists. You may be the first name on their list, or you may be the 500th name on their list. If you are the 500th name on the list, they would have to cut 300+ girls from the list before you would receive a bid. Girls ahead of you on the list will be removed with because the sorority dropped them, or they dropped the sorority.
