Hi, I'm a DG. 1) A girl sued for medical damages in 2007 and this has now been over for 6 years. A bit of a drama queen if you ask me. I mean if I had a dollar for every greek life or Ole Miss event where someone got a bruise, a cut, or twisted an ankle. So that's done with. Maybe try a different tactic for cutting down a house before recruitment. 2) AH here's the different tactic. Miserable and regrets their decision? Lies to make girls drop?! Hell to pay?! Girl what the heck happened to you to make you so hateful? DG is one of the larger sororities on campus by numbers, so if everyone was miserable I'm sure we would be much smaller. I'm sure miserable girls also wouldn't focus so much on teamwork with everyone else to do well in events, plan sisterhood retreats that are a blast, and you know just hang out with our friends on a daily basis. Are there some girls that for whatever reason are unhappy and drop? Absolutely. EVERY sorority has girls who drop for 195 different reasons. The only time I recall a girl being forced to drop was not recently but there were lots of behavior issues and previous meetings, but she was a legacy and DG didn't want to cut the legacy line by dismissing her, so she was asked to resign and she did and everyone involved was happier. Like I said, not recent. But to me that seems like you're looking out for your members and respecting family ties to DG to avoid a legacy having to explain to her family why she was removed, not "making up lies."
