There are actually two different sorority rushes going on at the same time. There are the top three sororities who are rushing the same top 300 or so girls. They already have identified which girls are going into which houses. Everybody loves these houses and everybody wants a bid, but so many are disappointed when they get cut. It causes a lot if hurt feelings. The other rush is for everybody else. If you are not one of the top 300 girls being recruited by the top tier, this is the rush you will experience. DG, phi mu, and kappa are the sororities the rest will want. They will get all the best girls not already chosen by ddd/KD/xo. Pi phi, aopi, theta, and ADPi is where girls with no connections or bad grades or bad reputations will go. Argue all you want, but this is how it is. Girls want ddd, KD, chi o. They will settle for and be happy to get bids to DG, phi mu, and kappa. They will be disappointed on bid day will the rest. (Some plain Janes will be happy, but there are not very many plain janes going through)
