We don't have any non-national Panhellenic sororities on campus. All of our sororities are national. (No locals). We also have the Devine 9 Pan-Hellenic sororities on campus as well. Being black will not limit your options, but being from New Jersey might. A handful of our sororities draw primarily from Mississippi and other southern states. Nothing wrong with northern states, but with no sisters in the houses being from up north, it's hard to field the girls and get to know then prior to rush. With your credentials, you will have many options with both councils. Race shouldn't really be a big issue as most sororities are open to diversity.
