1. True 2. True 3. This is why it is so important to get your recs from alumni who actually attended ole miss. It can be done without alumni support, but usually not. 4. Actually the stereotypes are spot on. Really. Not 100% for every girl, but for most. 5. If you have even stood in front of the Lyceum on bid day you would know this is false. My mom was horrified last year! Girls break down in tears, fall down crying, or whatnot. If you have your heart set on one house and put them first on your pref card and they drop you and you have a bottom tier house instead, yeah, you cry! 6. Girls do drop houses, but return rates are much higher for top tier houses. Then mid tier, then bottom tier. 7. True 8. True.
